KINGSTON, R.I. 鈥 Oct 27, 2025 鈥 Two dozen AV福利社 faculty members, across a broad range of disciplines, have been recognized by Stanford/Elsevier as being among the world鈥檚 top scientists and most influential researchers.
Stanford University鈥檚 Top 2% Scientists list is considered the most prestigious in the world. The listing is based on bibliometric factors contained in the Scopus database provided by Elsevier, a global information analytics company and academic publisher.

The rankings consider scholars who have published multiple highly cited papers and use various metrics to evaluate the citation impact of researchers鈥 work over their career and a single year. The rankings are based on citations from 2024.
